opinion on flush mount led pods for back bumper

i need an alternate option for reverse lights and i think they would work good for that. also come in handy with work. opinion?

Took a grinder with a cut off wheel and cut the squares out. Used stainless Alan head bolts and nuts. Took probably 2 hours to do. Had to make a template for the holes though.

Just go on eBay and find a set I paid like 18$ for these. Pretty bright

it is a chrysler color. it’s called “destroyer grey” and it comes on the new charger, challenger, and chrysler 300

Have the same brand lights in my fogs

 

^^^ great mod to do. Tie into the yellow reverse wire on the trailers plug harness.

 

I think it’s a good idea. I have C3’s mounted below that give awesome lighting and I can angel it anyway I want, but they are exposed to hits and rocks.

 

I don't have photos but installed the same basic type in my aftermarket rear bumper. Plenty bright, that's for sure.

 

Caliraised led. A little more expensive than Amazon or eBay but you get what you pay for in the long run

 

Remember, flush mount LEDs' do not have any aiming capability. Also, if you live in an area where they use any significant amount of road salt, the holes you cut into your rear bumper will eventually rust.
