On-off-on light bar DPDT switch

Anyone know a place to find a On-off-on light bar switch that will go in the tall hole of the 3rd gen left of the steering wheel?
Yes I have searched and I tried air on-board but they were no help to put it politely.
For some reason I thought the option of also having the light bar operate with the high beams would be more popular.

I sent them an email asking if they make one
I will be buying two switches from those guys if I can’t find a 3 position switch.

They must see a demand, so I am not the only one who wants the option to run the light bar Independently or with the brights if so desired

OP, I actually have this one and it works but make sure you have a multi-meter to check how the wiring is set up. Do not trust what the listing says. I blew a bunch of fuses wiring it up until I decided to manually check how each switch was wired up. They are available on eBay shipped from China though. I just searched for Dual Push Button Switch Toyota and a bunch shows up.

 

I had to use a multi meter as well. Here is a quick representation of what I mapped out.

 

As a side note, if you get an insert for the cubby, you can go to a Carling brand switch, that are available in many switch configurations. For ON-OFF-ON, you could have an UP-CENTER_DOWN action or go for the rotary switch and have LEFT-CENTER-RIGHT action.

The top left switch is for my dual colored LED pods. I should also note that this is in a 3rd gen 4runner so Im not sure if the switch blanks on the dash are the same size as yours. You can also find generic ones at autozone.

So I ended up ordering a custom switch.
I like how it turned out, other than me not reading the description properly.
I thought it would be blue in the off position.
Turns out it’s green in the off position which is where will mostly be sitting.
Oh well I like green too

 

I like it, where did you order from? I ordered my dual switch from Lightforce. I used mine for switching the rock lights lights between courtesy lights tied to the dome, and always on. I ended up using one of my rotary switches to cycle the light bar between light bar solo or light bar with headlights.
You could maybe put a relay in the circuits somewhere to "invert" the function of the switches so blue could be off and green could be on

 

Mines a light force also (Thanks for that idea) but I went to the Australia site as they have more options for switches on the website (not sure why)
I thought about doing the added relay also, but not big on the idea of having an always energized relay to accomplish the inverting of the switch.
Can’t think of any other way to do it
I was going to change the LED but after seeing it that’s not an option.

 

Yeah, tearing into the surface mount LED just wasn't worth it to me either.
I am not sure what your present circuit layout is. But you might be able to getaway with just one relay. Use a 5 pin relay and use the normally closed pin instead of the normally open. That way you get the always on without having to energize the coil all the time. Use a switched 12 volt for your trigger voltage and then the circuit is active when then button is out, and open circuit when button is in.
It reverses the action of the switches, but gets you the color scheme that your looking for and it really only shows up when the lights are on anyway.

Your originally idea of DPDT would be a bit easier to implement.

What's going to make it tricky, is that your custom switch has only one incoming power line and then 2 outputs, normally. But, you can bring in 2 sources and have 1 output to your relay. Source 1, would be 12 volt switched. Source 2 would be OEM high beams. Then output to your relay.
BUT, you could have it set to activate "Just lightbar" and "light bar with headlights" at the same time.

It then could feed from the 12 v switched input and back out what would be the high beam input, and try to give you high beams even though you haven't turned them on with turn signal stalk.
So, you would need a couple diodes to prevent un wanted intercommunication from the two circuits.

EDIT: The top diode, (from the 12 volt switched), really isn't needed, but it won't hurt to have it there.
