Wheres everyone hiding their on-board air?

Was thinking on putting the tank and compressor somewhere in the rear under bed and running the gauge into the little lockbox next to the outlet plug.

My Arb twin comp is in the hood, rear right side of the engine and the air port is located in the bed in the left cubby.

Sub'd to see other set ups. How useful is having a compressor on board?

How'd you power that up and mount it. That looks ideal.

hmmm so no tank works well with the arb unit? I wonder how much it differs from the airlift kit I have.

I'm planning on putting a tank on the left bed rail. About 2.5-5 gallons. I just haven't gotten to it yet. But it won't be long. I'll post pics when I do.

It works well without a tank for tire service and small stuff I'd like to run air tools for some off airport aviation work, so a tank would be needed.

I have an Air Zenith OB2 and a 3 gallon tank that I am trying to design brackets for to be mounted between the fender and the truck bed, right behind the d/s bed cubby. That or there is a place right in front of the rear axle. Will post pics once I finish it.

I run a single ARB underhood with no tank and it's been flawless for air up duties. Should I ever anticipate the need for a tank I've got a 3 gallon air pig that I can toss into the back of the truck and run in line with the pump. I've never felt the need however, and don't really expect to.

    Nice setup!
I'm thinking of sticking the dual back there. How loud is it with the seat up?
I would mount it in the engine bay as other have, but I have a dual battery setup there.

I had the ARB high output single on my Jeep and loved it. One of the best investments I made for off roading. I want to do the same for the truck but I'm not seeing many aftermarket mounting brackets out there. Maybe I'm not looking hard enough. Im new to truck ownership and looking for parts

I would be interested in your setup. I also have co2 tank. Any pics of how you have it set up?

    Thanks K-

Not very loud at all. You can definitely hear it, but its not loud. I just mounted it inside to keep it out of the elements and heat from the engine bay. Im just using it to air up tires for now. a front locker won't come for a little bit.

I'm pretty sure Slee has an underhood mount for either a single or double ARB compressor. I just made my own though.
