Old Fabtech coilover valving question

    FOX IFP front 2nd clip 1/2" spacer, FOX 2.0 adjustable resi rear, RXT leaf pack, SSO slimline front w/ baricade 9500lb and amber light bar, ARE Cap, allpro steps, TRD pro style wheels w/ Kenda Klevar skins
    I had some Fabtech coilovers on my 99 taco. got the "updated" ones in 2006ish. plug and play without needing UCAs.
    They were great, handling was tight but I could hit speedbumps at speed like nothing and even washboard wasn't bad.
    Does anyone remember how they were valved? digressive/linear etc. I have been all over their website and emails to them, but everything is regarding their current lineup. Just trying to figure it out so I can get something similar on my 2020 OR as they were great for my needs

    It's less Tacoma and more mod
    They're old, old, old, Foxes if I remember right. Pretty sure they're progressive but I couldn't even begin to guess at the valving.

    The current 05-23 3" coilover valving is based off my truck. I dropped it off to r&d in 2018 and they said all Dirt Logics are designed with linear digressive valving. Those old first gen tacoma coilovers could be fabtech by sway-a-way, fox, or dirt logic. They had them made private label until they came out with Dirt Logic on their own.

    Linear Piston Design For Digressive Performance:
    Linear pistons feature perfectly flat faces so other techniques need to be used to create a digressive damping curve. If the shock curve does not need to be extremely digressive a linear piston can be made digressive by using a very small through bleed hole. This solution often only works for shocks with a lot of rebound damping.

    Linear pistons can be used to create digressive damping curves by preloading the valve disks. This can be done with coil springs (sometimes used for through shaft compression adjusters), or by inserting a preload ring into the disk stack. Either way the results are the same.
