I was at General Sam's a month ago and there was NO mud, but that's probably changed in accordance with the rain. I didn't find anything near as technical as Northwest.

I wheel BVORR very often, 10 minutes from campus off hwy 47. TX4wd meets most 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month for an open wheel, check here for meeting dates: http://www.tx4wd.org/forumdisplay.php?35-Bryan-College-Station New schedule for 2016 should be coming up soon.
Would like to see a few more Toyotas come out. There is mild to wild at BVORR and lots of trails with no mud (we try to avoid mud anyhow).
