So I've been looking at a few off road teardrop campers and wanted to see if anyone here has one or recommends a certain brand. Would like to order one in a few months and I think I have it narrowed down to 3 brands, which are Hiker Trailer, TetonX, and Blue Ridge Expedition Trailers.

Thanks in advance for the help.

We have a Hiker Trailer Off Road Extreme, picked it up last fall, so have not camped in it yet. It seems like it will suit our needs, we are not familiar with the other brands you mentioned. We waited 8 months for our trailer and when we got it, we were told the waiting list was up to one year! Seems pretty well built.

If I could build something, I would like something like the Taxa Cricket... just not as complex with the shapes, and probably a bit smaller. A nice, compact teardrop with inside amenities (cooking, cleaning, shitting, sleeping) with a pop top, so it can stay small and compact in tow, but accommodate my 6'1" size standing up. Ideally it would have heat, AC, water, a stove and a fridge.

In the meantime, I have an A-frame, which is pretty nice, but is a bit on the big side!

    Fresh gas.
There is a guy on the TnTTT forums that got Little Guy Trailers to build a Silver Shadow on one of their Offroad frames. Pretty sweet little Rig.
My Bro has a 5x8 Silver Shadow - and I'm a big fan. Its pretty cozy inside and well built.

I myself have a Backpacker 2XT from Three Feather Manufacturing.

Gotta put my vote in for these guys. I don't own one myself (yet), but the company is run by two of my coworker's brothers, Jonathan and Sawyer, and they are great guys who build an amazing product. If you're ever in Eugene, OR, hit them up for a showroom tour and maybe they'll show you their sick in-house manufacturing facility too.

So did you wind up making a decision, and, if so, what did you decide? We've been looking at the TetonX Hybrid. TetonX seems to be a business of great people who are very responsive via email.

    Well,
I ended up trading in my Taco for the Pro Tundra and may end up getting a Go Fast Camper for it. However, they are backed up until October 2020 on builds.
I may go with an Into the Wild Overland trailer.
They seem very well built and functional with all composite interior.

Oh, those are nice, too! The cool part is-depending on where you live-you can rent one and try it out before you buy. Best of decision-making luck!
