Works on your Model Too. You can mirror your phone to the headunit.

 

OP. Did you not use the stock harness? why did you buy an extra 28 pin connector?

EDIT: Where is the speed switch wired to? 17 to ground?

Hey guys, would it be possible to hook up a chromecast, firestick to the hdmi port and just mirror cast from phone to stick. Instead of purchasing mirror box?

 

Of course after the mod is complete.

Hello, I bought two harnesses but both are wired differently. So i attached my mock-up drawing I made of one harness and could use some assistance in connecting everything together. My truck is a 2016 Tacoma. I think this will also be great for anyone else in my position to be able to do it themselves in the future with zero issues.




My other harness has the 17 pin SPD wire completely removed
15 pin (12v) cut and tied to the with 25 pin and 11pin e-brake

 

Sort of ran across this older threat, but how are you liking your MimicsG4?
Assuming you had a chance to use it some and or still have it.
