I’m a new taco owner and I love it but I hate the look of the stock roof rack I bought it with.
I want to eventually install a prinsu but right now I just want to take off the stock one. My question is how do I seal the holes properly with no leaks for now but still also have the ability to install the new one later on? Not wanting to get the new one for another 6 months or so.

have you tried Amazon? I saw a delete kit for 4 Runners and one of the crossovers pop up on my page.

You seriously can't live with the OEM roof rack for 6 months?

PS: is it just me or does this thread smell funky?

yeah, for a 6 month wait, I would just leave the OE rack, rather than sourcing the rubber type trim piece's that cover the body joints (I am assuming that's what those are??)

My advice; do some talking around here, meet the required BST rules, and offer the stock rack for trade on OE roof drip moldings. They'll be gone same day. You'll obviously just fill the holes with sealant/silicone. But may also be more hassle than its worth if you're planning for another rack in the near future. Either way, you're gonna want some factory roof moldings.

What do you plan to use the roof rack for in 6 months?

User name is definitively suspect, but there’s an abnormal amount of salt in this thread too
