OEM Headlight replacement

I'm planning to replace my headlights on tacoma 2010. They cost $309 each, is there anything I need to be careful about ordering these headlights from Capital Toyota? like if they fit or not, restocking fees?
Also, there is this online site called "toyota.oempartsonline.com", are they really OEM? the headlights will cost about $100 less on that site. Has anybody ordered from this site?

Thanks, but I'm not that technical, i'm not sure if I can or want to do all what's being done on the post. I would like to get a better bulb if it fits.

 

Read about the part numbers to get and where to find what your looking for. I was just showing you that there are 2 part numbers for the headlights and that if you buy the housings it's cheaper.
OEM 2005-2011 smoked headlights:
These are like the Pro lights, but came on select Sport models. These are the updated TSB version of the lights that do not have the melting DRL issue. TSB is available here.
Right: 81110-04210
Left: 81150-04210
I did a DRL delete so I don't have the melting issue any more.

 

There are several, if not many of these Toyota internet companiers that sell factory parts at a discounted price. Just don't expect free shipping.
I've dealt with a few that have changed names over the years without any issue and would buy from again.
Even without free shipping the final price was cheaper than buying from my local dealer that's associated with AutoNation.
One thing each had in common was the verification that the part is correct for your vehicle. First in the search and then by VIN.

I just purchased two OEM replacements from Apex Toyota online, Memorial Day wekend sale, free shipping, $307 tax included. Looking to install soon...Hendricks Toyota that is.

 

When I ask for headlights, I mean the housing. I'm confused with the 2 part numbers. I want to buy the exact match, mine are not smoked headlights.
The hendricktoyotaapex.com shows the part number as 81110-04163for the right side.

 

Yes that's it, but if you look there are new ones that don't have the melting DRL issues. But unfortunately they don't make them any longer and you will be back to having to watch out for the melting issues again.

Ther's a post I made a few pages back where I deleted the drl's so I don't melt any longer.

 

Here ya go what I did and it cost me $40.00 and 30 minutes of my time and no more DRL's or LEDs.
I used relay # 81980-02030 and JUNCTIONBLOCK (TOYOTA PART) #82671-30360 here is the write up.

What is melting DRL issue? why would I have it when I buy original OEM headlight?
Today I did the trip to Capital Toyota in san jose parts dep. to just get a quote and part#. They wouldn't answer the phone or even reply to my email. So much for customer service.
The dude was standing behind his desk with no customer. He gave me following quote:
81150-04163 $309.02
81110-04163 $309.02
total with tax $675.98
I need to know if I order these headlights from site you guys mentioned (hendricktoyotaapex.com, lakelandtoyota.com, hendricktoyotaapex.com) and they don't fit for some reason, can i return with no restocking fee?

Those improved headlights are still being sold, am I missing something here?

 

Are these smoked lens lights available for the '11 regular cab?
The drl lens are about ready to completely collapse in there!
