I'm not sure on which one to purchase. OEM all weather floor mats or OEM all weather liners? Which one would you guys recommend? Thanks!

Husky X-Acts. my truck came with OEM All Weathers but the Huskys are 1000x better.

Im curious to know what exactly is better about the husky's compared to oem. I have the oem all weather mat in my taco and I literally wiped up a puddle from getting in and out all day with snow on my shoes, I got nervous and lifted the mat up afterwards and it was bone dry so it makes me wonder if its a waste to upgrade from one to the other.

the x acts are awesome but only compatible with the AT trucks. the rear x act will fit in the MT's, however. for the front I'm using the husky weather beater. not a fan of harder plastic but these work well, just prefer soft rubber to grab my heel a bit and keep from sliding like hard plastic allows.

I bought the OEM's when I ordered the truck but the passenger side slides around and neither side come up enough on the sides to keep dirt and debris out. I put in weathertechs and love them. Just by the pictures it looks like the grooves in the Huskies are too deep for my little portable vacuum to lift junk out of.

Sometime during the middle of last year they changed the design of the OEM Tacoma liners, they look better designed to hold fluid

I have the OEM's AW floor mats and don't notice any sliding around at all. Additionally, in my glove box is a hook to secure the passenger side down, but I haven't felt the need to install it. I also have no need right now to change, I like the oem's.

I don't know what oem liners are.

I think the bottoms ones no longer come in the trucks as optional

I have OEM and just replaced them with weather techs. I'll be going through Truckee CA tomorrow in snow so we'll see how they are.

    I know, I know!
    Weather tech are fantastic!

Currently snow here in Maine and the mats hold all the slushy stuff you don't want on your carpet!
    Easy to clean too.

I've used Weathertechs in most of my vehicles. Somewhat expensive but worth it IMO.

I have the OEM AW Liners like in this pic posted by m_win01...

I'm curious about the "hook" you mentioned, since my passenger side Liner does slide forward whenever my wife sits there. I bought some of those VW mat-securing devices mentioned in some of the other "mat" threads, but I haven't tried to install them yet. Can you post a picture of the hook you're talking about?

Sorry man, no hook. My mistake. Sales guy was going through the truck and pointing things out and told me the little plastic bag in the glove was a hook for the mat. It's not.

It's amazing how little some sales people know. Why should they know anything? It's only their livelihood.
