Anyone got pictures of the OEM door edge guards installed? Not the clear film, but the ones that are the color of the truck. Dinged my door edge today so I was curious how they look before thinking about ordering some.

Haha! Prolly the only thing I’ll get this year, so it’s much appreciated!!

Question; any complaints about them? Or info in general?

Mom had a 3rd gen tundra with them, I would like some for my truck seems like they’d do a good job protecting the edges. They would get a little dirty. As long as kept clean and salt free they should be a nice addition

No complaints. Truck next to it is the wife’s 22 4Runner. Came with the clear PPF ones. I like mine better.

They work great and blend right in.

If you need white, someone just had 4 on the BST list a couple days ago. I think he was giving them away but maybe not shipping? Maybe worth a look.

Thanks! I need Voodoo Blue though. I’ll look up a part number a little later and get some ordered. I think I saw them for like $75ish when briefly checking earlier.

Yep, I caught that and also found the ad. Guy wasn't shipping from SoCal. I saw them quoted for $70'ish so not a yuuuge expenditure to have to shop.

I purchased and installed aftermarket edge guards. I inutile them on my taco and wife’s crv. Look great and work. I remember they were sold by the foot. It was reasonable so oem or aftermarket your choice but color matching is key, merry xmas

Thanks! I’ll probably grab something OEM so I can whine to them if it’s not exactly the same color. Haha.
Merry Christmas to you as well!

I ended up taking mine off...nothing wrong really.. just didn't dig them and also was worried about dirt eventually getting under/in them. Seemed well made. If you install them really make sure to follow the body lines

Yeah. Dirt building up is my biggest concern.

No issues, so far! Way better than the clear ones that looked like crap on a white truck after only 2 months.

Sweet! If they look fine on a white truck I know the blue will be less noticeable. Thanks!

Yeah, I was worried about dirt and road salt too. Almost decided to pull them when I took delivery.
Ended up leaving them on and they've been fine. Just waxed the truck tonight and inspected them. Look just like new with nothing collecting along the edges.
