I have a set of OEM all-weather rubber floor mats in my Tacoma...and they're "ok", although they're hard to clean.

I've been considering getting a set of WeatherTech mats that I've heard are superior.

Can any here with experience with both either tell me to pull the trigger...or keep what I got, and save some money?

The WeatherTech mats for the front will absolutely provide more coverage for the sides of the floorboard area and the material will be thicker. The rear mats for OEM and WeatherTech are very similar in their coverage area.

I have the OEM all weathers but like how the both the weathertech and Husky floorliners also cover up to the door sills. Have been on fence about switching out my OEMs.

I have Weather Tech and they are pretty hard and slick material. Fit and work well. Hard to clean well.

Looking forward to seeing some Huskies in person so I can make a better educated buying choice the next time.

I'm hearing the WeatherTech mats are hard to clean...how about your Husky EC ones?

Have had both Husky and Weathertech, both are great. I found to like the Husky's slightly better because they were a bit more flexible and easier to get in and out. No complaints with either, cannot go wrong..

I went with the WeatherTech "HP" (High Performance) line and they are great. They aren't as rigid as the standard WTs but softer and more rubber like. I have no problems keeping them clean if I keep up with them. Even so, I couldn't care less since that's where my feet go and how often are you looking at your floor mats?

The one who dies with the most stuff wins.
I've always had the WeatherTech in all of my vehicles and like them a lot. We bought my wife a new car over the summer and I bought the WT HP mats and they are better than the original. In terms of cleaning they are hard to get totally clean. I did try the cleaning products WeatherTech sells and it did work well, but it is pricey so not something I would use every time.

Either Weathertech or Huskys are far better than the OEM mats. I have the new Weathertech HP and I think they are better than the previous models.

I got my 2022 OR DCLB with the OEM all-weather floor liners. They are so-so and I replaced them with the WeatherTech HP floor liners, which cover and protect a much wider area. They are softer than the WeatherTech liners I had in my 2018 Tacoma. My only knock is that they tend to stain and can be hard to clean off.

I have Huskyliner Xact Contour mats and wouldn't change them. Easy to clean and they have a grippy rubber feel. Everything I heard about the Weathertech mats made them sound like the rubber was hard and clicky if that makes sense. I'm also in the trades and have been beating mine up with muddy boots for over a year and they are holding up well. Hope this helps

Have to say I'm surprised by all the love for the Huskies in here. I had them in a previous car about 8-10 years ago and hated them. Just ill-fitting, slouchy, and clearly a more 'budget' product than Weathertech at that time. I'm guessing Husky has upped their game since then, which is great.

We always buy WeatherTech liners first thing when we get a new vehicle, and love them. But the Taco came with OEMs, so that's what I'm running. Might upgrade in the future, but for now good enough is good enough.

I always found the Weather Tech mats to be very hard and slick, especially when wet.

They're definitely harder than my Huskies were (I actually like that about them), and they may be slick when wet, but I live in the desert, so... dunno.

like the plastic ones that have the tacoma lettering? why do you find them hard to clean? I just take 'em out and spray them, or vacuum.

I had the cloth ones at first and saw the "tacoma" branded ones at the dealer while getting some ws fluid (they also had a toyota branded soft tri-fold tonneau cover for like 450 I snatched real quick!!! only dealer I've ever seen to have decent parts prices!!)...they had a GREAT price, like $50 for the fronts with the long rear one...and they were TOYOTA.

when a lady hit my last tacoma and totaled it I had walmart rubber mats and insurance adjuster gave me a higher estimate because they added value so toyota branded ones should too. but I've always found them super easy to clean imo. Now to be honest the walmart ones were softer so easier to manipulate, and like fold when taking out to keep the dirt from accidentally falling out, but I had to cut them to make them fit (no biggy really), maybe go with those? I know the toyota ones do snap in but I also like that, and even though stiffer I really never spilt any dirt from them while removing

I don't see how any others would be any different...the weathertechs my parents put in their van seems more stiff and while formed to fit really well...it fits so well they're kinda harder than mine to pull out
