my 4x4 actuator went out at 140k miles and I ordered a new one off ebay and installed it today.. during the few weeks I drove around with the 4x4 light flashing continuously, I noticed a lit ODO Trip indicator light lit. As its never been there before.

Now, i bought the truck with 90k on it, so maybe at some point this indicator went out, but Ive never seen this lit before. And now that i fixed my front diff actuator, its gone.

I checked the owners manual and searched and I dont see anything mentioning it. Im not to concerned, since its apparently just there to indicate where the ODO trip indicator button is but just wondering why its never been lit before and now it is?

Has anyone else seen this, or is yours lit all the time?

That's not one of my best tanks. I've actually pushed 500 miles (see fuelly link in sig... but the one tank over 500 was after a 5-gallon topoff... was almost out of gas the day before payday so my whiskey money went in the tank).
Remember, this is a 2.7 5-lug RC with auto, 90 mile daily commute, 70mph in the morning, and 2 hours to make the same 45 mile drive home.

And the tires were fine... the TPMS was not working when I bought the truck. Discount tire reset the system and it's been fine since. Good thing because like a week after they fixed the TPMS, I got another light. Figured it had failed again, but I checked the tires to be positive. Shore-nuff... left rear was 10psi low. Picked up a nail.
    Nope.
