ODO is in Km but was sold as if in Miles. Should I tell Bank/Dealership?

The truck was imported from Canada and it doesn't show the units on the ODO screen. I have looked around and it seems only a Toyota dealer can switch them out. I realize this is pretty good news for me since the mileage is actually way less than advertised. BUT, the APR I was approved for was dependent on the vehicle's age & mileage. So, should I tell my bank about the mistake in hopes of getting a better rate? Will it not affect it with that kind of difference? Also, should I tell the dealership? Can they say they want more money after I've purchased it? I'm in Washington state if that helps. They should know that they're advertising cars with incorrect mileage right? Thanks for any info you guys have!

Buy vehicle with ODO in kilometer, have it changed to miles, then refinance at a lower rate.

The kilometer speedo has big KPH numbers and small MPH numbers. The US speedo has big MPH numbers and small KPH numbers. The odometer reading is stored in the speedo. My truck was imported from Canada and done correctly. I verified that by getting a vin service record printout from the dealer which showed a recent service done in Canada with the odometer reading in kilometers. I mathematically converted the killmeters to miles and it was a few thousand miles less than the miles showing on the truck, which was inline with the time of service.

It has a US Speedometer with big MPH numbers but the Odometer definitely is in Km. I tested it using a GPS tracker for a long drive yesterday. As far as service records go, I haven't looked into that to confirm anything. I know it was imported to Canada as a new truck directly to a Toyota Dealership because I have the original dealer sticker if that helps.

Take your vin number to any Toyota dealer and get a printout. It will show the odometer reading at the time of all dealer performed repairs.

I wonder if the kilometers to miles was done correctly, but there's something wrong with the speedo. Let us know when you get to the bottom of this.
