Late to the party, but glad you got it sorted. Does it now show up when you use simple dashboard?

Damn.... I should have been working on a 4x4 screen with all this Texas snow! Would have been a great opportunity to test out the abs and wheel speed PIDs.

Just went a did a little test drive. I am so glad I finally loaded this software. I’ve been playing with vF for a while but this now makes me realize how blind I was without it. Awesome tool! Both your dashboards are awesome. In a short drive I played with both and am stoked to have another toy to tinker with.

    Thanks!

I've got a question for the guru's on this thread -- albeit my application is 2nd Gen :alien:

I've got the OBDLink app on my android interfacing with an OBD MX+ scantool, and I've got a PID for Engine Oil Temp under the Toyota Enahnced Diagnostic. I get oil-temp readings that seem to be within the right range..a little higher than coolant temp but not as high as, say, an Oxygen Sensor. However, everything I've found online says there is no oil-temp sensor on this 2TR-FE engine.

Is there any way to find out where a PID is recieving it's information?

There are a couple of Toyota gurus on the forum, I think perhaps employees. They might have access to the official Toyota pid list. Then of course we have to assume the developer has coded them correctly which hopefully isn’t an issue.

I’ll troll some threads and see if I can find one and tag them here.

That's great thanks a lot. I am thinking if there is no specific thermistor sensor to identify it's probably calculated from a couple other engine parameters in conjunction with a pre-programmed value table.

Added and setup the OBDLink MX+, and the Fusion App with the help from @RushT.
It would be nice if the App was customizable In CarPlay. The Fusion Dashboard would then be on the Tacoma Head-unit screen.

Does that show the gear you are in on an AT?

Possible to customize it on your phone and still run the app through CarPlay? Or is there a way to mirror your phone?
    Aftermarket headunit maybe?

I reached out to Fusion and At this time apple doesn’t support the app in CarPlay. Maybe one day in the future.

@brentano is able to mirror using the accessories in post #261.

Yeah I just looked into that mirroring option… nope…. $200 to mirror. I can mount an old ipad cheaper than that for now

How did you get the RPM gauge to look like this? I just started using Fusion. Radial gauge then adjust all the colors?
