I like the idea of epoxy coating the whole thing and then spray bedliner on top

Just picked up a IFS Skid from Universal4x4 with some sliders. All Pro needs to do a better job packaging. Quite a bit of rust and marks, came out the box like this.

I’ll definitely have to take some naval jelly and brush to it before paint.

    Update:
The rust was merely flash rust from handling, very quickly came off with naval jelly and wire brush. The marks aren’t visible, no foul. I decided on the VHT Roll bar epoxy paint, 1-1/2 cans covered with 3 coats, as prescribed on can. 1 hr dry time is up and I’m in the middle of installing, just removed the stock pans.

I don't have a bumper but if prepped good I don't see why it wouldn't.

Small kine action on dump road. Almost got myself stuck, but the kids had a blast. I had to use a pressure washer to get all the mud off and the plasti dip on my wheels came off as well. Stink ass clay mud. Lesson learned. Dont just try and send it. Get out and inspect first. :facepalm:Just got my Ka'ena point permit in the mail.....Tacoma.jpg

Who has done the research (internet or personally) of small Bluetooth speakers? Have a Shark (waterproof) and it is good, but kinda weak for camping movies.

Picked up a Bose mini2 today and kinda impressed but unimpressed. Not water-anything, and we will see how it does at camp this weekend. Just looking for powerful enough, with a water-rating a HUGE plus.

I’ve been looking for something similar, but no success.

It’s like you can’t have all three (compact, waterproof, and good sounds). Usually best two out of three.

They had the Bose, Exogear (waterproof), and a Sony (water-resistant) at Costco today. Sony and Exogear was kinda big..

I picked up an Ultimate Ears Boom and its loud, waterproof and sounds great but only in the house.

A buddy of mine just got the JBL Charge 3, its loud, waterproof and sounds great outdoors. He cranks it up when we play sand volleyball.

I did a little bit of research a while back and decided to go with the UE Boom2 based on reviews and price. I like it and it fits my needs.

    https://www.amazon.com/UE-BOOM-Wire...m+2&refinements=p_n_condition-type:2224371011

We use it at the beach and it’s loud enough that I actually never had to cranked it up all the way. There’s a MegaBoom model too that is slightly bigger and supposedly louder and with even more base. I’m no sound expert but I think the sound is good. It is waterproof, shockproof, has a auto shut off feature and can be paired with other Boom speakers.

Bose revolve 360 I have one and love it. It’s splash resistant. Not water proof but the rain won’t kill it

I have the Bose Soundlink Mini, and the battery won’t keep its charge and won’t even turn on anymore. Granted this isn’t the new Soundlink Mini II. Hope they fixed that problem. I couldn’t even replace the battery because it died just after the warranty period.

But when it did work, it sounded great indoors or out. Just isn’t waterproof so had to be cautious outdoors.
