Long story short. I felt some weird play in my steering. Took a look at my Icon UCAs and the nut, washer, and one side of the bushing are missing from the driver side! I just need to limp the truck back home so I'm hoping I can at least pick up the nut and washer at a hardware store. I ordered the bushing replacement from Icon but it doesn't come with the washers or the nut. I'm hoping if you guys can give me the exact size of the nut and bushing I can source them from the local fastenal or someplace similar. Just to get me back home.

Edit: Thanks for everyone's help on here. You guys are great. Because of all of you I got the exact parts I need to get my truck home. Where I can wait for the bushing kit and finish the job right. Looks like the nut and washer I got will work perfectly fine as a permanent solution. No need to get the factory nut. Thanks again.

NOT trying to be a smartass, but if it is a Toyota part - call a dealer and ask them?? If actually an Icon part, call them??

Assuming the UCA bolt is installed in the stock direction and thus a PITA to remove, you could remove the nut from the opposite side, take it to the parts store, and ask them for a comparable replacement.

I also don’t think I would trust a random hardware store for a safety sensitive automotive part like a UCA bolt nut. But in a pinch…

The dealer says it's not in stock and they have to order it. They also claim to not know the size or thread pitch so that I can source it elsewhere. And to order it they charge like $20 for a little bolt. I onow I can get the washer and nut at fasenal for like $3. Just need the to know the size.

A place like fasenal will have bolts nuts at different grades. I'd imagine I could get aircraft and spaceship rated bolts if I wanted too

Price should not be your concern in the situation I understand you to be in.

If the bolts are the same diameter and pitch as factory, I think they are M14x1.5 fine thread.
But I have no idea if Icon uses the same bolt/nut size.

I’m not familiar with fasenal. If they sell quality products, I think you are good to go.

When the fasenal is closer than the dealership and probably a tenth of the cost for the same thing.

    Fastenal is good.
But don’t be surprised if they are more expensive than the dealership.

Are you talking the big long bolt that is a PIA to get out of the truck>? Runs behind the coilover through both UCA pivots? I can go measurement mine if you're really in a jam though I bet @TnShooter is right

I just measured, M14x1.5 is correct. Hex size is 19mm, not that that really matters in this instance

Nice. I’d suggest a flanged nut like they use from the factory.
But a nut and washer will do in a pinch:thumbsup:

Perfect! I don't know why I couldn't find that. Probably because I'm on my phone and everything seems to be moving slower for me. But thank you. exactly what I needed
