Gonna be reinstalling the summo with mine. Waiting on warm weather. The 3 leaf aal's came very well packaged and are waiting in the garage.

Damn, I’m debating if I should go ahead and get the 0.5” shim to make it a full 2” lift... decisions decisions

TrdPro grille, blackout badges. Pretty much stock.
H.S. your 1.5" AAL is awesome! I have to say that you really can feel a difference. I also installed the ss brake lines  and top plate spacers. My truck feels better than when it was new! Thank you so much for great products!

Anyone have issues ordering using piece of shit paypal? I tried this morning and the site would bring me back to the beginning after paying with paypal and the order would not go through. Guess I'll try to call them today.

I got it to work. I was using Brave and had the issues. I used a different pc with Chrome and it went though. Initially I wasn't happy paypal took out $211 three times, but it was credited back quickly.

I just ordered the 1/2" flat shim yesterday, said might as well go for the full 2" lift

Is the rear bearing drop kit necessary for a 2" lift in the rear?

Is there a functional difference in keeping the factory overload versus using the shim in order to obtain the 2" lift?

Not too sure tbh. Since @HeadStrong Off-Road designed this particular kit to be used w/o the factory overload, I just decided to get the 1/2" flat shim to get me back to 2" of lift in the back.

I don't do any towing nor do I have any weight in my bed so I'm not too worried about losing the functionality of the factory overload

I'm in the same boat and am thinking I will go the 2" route. It is making it difficult to commit to which length of King shock to buy for the rear!

I went the 2" route and glad I did. I wanted the rear to be a little higher than the front after the lift and it's sitting 1/2" higher out back.

Did you install the carrier bearing drop kit or any angled shims?

Will this aal work with stock SR5 rear shocks and break lines? I’ve called H.S, about 20 times in the last couple of weeks and no one ever answers. I want a new complete lift done but can’t get ahold of them.

Awesome, I guess I'll install the bearing drop kit if I experience any vibes.

Crossing my fingers I don't get the rear vibes :fingerscrossed:

Hey all, total noob here with this. I've been looking to lift my 2017 2x4 TRD OR DBCSB. I'm looking for something in the 2.5"-3" range. I've been told that because the 2x4's weight less, the lift kits spec's are incorrect because they are rated for the 4x4 weight and I can expect .75" - 1" of lift over the advertised specs. Is this correct?

Truck will do no major off-roading, and is a daily driver in city. It will need some extra support to handle towing our 22' Sanger ski boat. Really like the look of 285's on the truck and plan on 285/70/17 Wildpeaks.

I like the Bilstein 5100 idea with some HS AAL's + a 1" rear block (please correct me if I'm wrong here). I will need to keep the rake when I tow the boat w/ a full bed.

But what front springs should I be looking at for the 5100's? I'm pretty confused with the spring rates, lengths, clip settings, etc... and just need some pointing in the right direction.

I have a 2006 PreRunner access cab TRD Sport and I'm running 883's set at 0 on the front 5100's.
