Don't know to much about truck, never the less my own. I have a 2010 Toyota Tacoma V6. P245/75/r16.

I look at some of these Tacoma and like the look of a lifted truck with all terrain tires. I'm looking to go for a 3" lift with 33 size tires. Only I really don't want to have to cut anything or trim. So if it is possible to run 33s on a 3 inch lift without having to cut or trim I would like to know. Also, if not I would like maybe a recommendation on what I could go with as far as a lifted truck with all terrain tires. I'm just looking for Asteics here. Don't ever take my truck out off roading. Thanks in advance for any replys.

Welcome to TW! You might consider moving up to 265/75 (just under a 32 inch tire). You shouldn't rub at all with a 3 inch lift in that size. You'll likely have to trim, if only a little bit, if you run 33s. Many people run 265s here, so you can search for pics.

I have a 2016, and I run 32.6” Tires on stock height. The 2nd Gen trucks, yours included, are 1” lower stock, so you would need about an inch or slightly over. I don’t know the specifics for your generation truck or what wheels you want to run or even what tire you’re looking at, and all are slightly different, but read up on the thread posted above. It’ll get you started in the right direction. And welcome to TW

Also, I'm going to a 265/75 when these run their course due to mpg loss at a 33. Love these 255s but I will be just fine with the 32

How much of an MPG decrease would you say? I'm thinking of going from 265/70r17 to 255/80r17 in the near future.

I have a 3in lift with 17x9. -12 offset wheels and running 265/70/17 and was rubbing the front mud flaps at full cock so I took them off. I’m sure if I goto 285s then I will have to trim some of the inner fender.

Ummm significant amount. Never did the actual calculations but I added some weight to mine as well. Winter driving, strictly "city" I get about 10.5. In the summer about 15 on a good tank. Do some research on how much weight you will be adding over stock tires at a 33, you might end up shocked. Try the 265/75 and I would put money on it you will be happy. Also check the difference between loads. Mine are E. There is a huge difference between the E, C and P load. A P loaded falken would be good for you if you are never off road

A C rated tire is more than sufficient for a Tacoma. The rating for a C tire is still higher than the max tow capacity

I also run this tire size. OP, this is the only "no trim" 33" tire.

My 33s don't rub. No trimming. They go most of the places I try to go.
