A yeti would be ideal but $400 for an ice chest.
I don’t know if I can bring myself to it.
I’m looking to keep vegetables edible for 3-5 days without running the truck.

Oh there will be some mods all right
I would consider an RTIC cooler if I were you. Affordable with lots of happy customers. There are tests on YouTube for ice retention against other popular coolers and they hold their own. I have a blue 65 myself.

Cabela's products are usually pretty good.

    Thanks for responding.
The 65 hard coolers seems to be 90-100$ cheaper than a 65 yeti.

Their prices are the cheapest straight from RTIC's own website. 239.99 right now for a tan 65. That's where I bought mine from.

Wow they even offer free shipping and from their website the prices ave very competitive.
However it looks like only a one year warranty.
Cabelas offers a lifetime warranty for anything with their name on it if I’m not mistaken.
Is this warranty worth 100+ dollars.

Actually Cabela 60 is 300$ free shipping right now.
    So we’re talking 60$.

I'm not too worried about a warranty because for the price difference between a Yeti and an RTIC, it gets close to paying for another one, especially when they're on sale. I got mine for 179.99. Much better than most prices. Plus they sell all the parts for their coolers if something breaks. Like you can buy the rubber feet, latches, handles and drain plugs.

I’m leaning towards their 45 for 189$. That 60$ less than the Cabela 45.
When did you get yours was it some sort of sale?
No way I’m buying a Yeti after seeing these and the Cabela.
It’s really between those 2 now.
I can’t imagine need a warranty replacement on a cooler though. But always nice.

The one made by Cabela's comes with a one year warranty.

For me, this is the best cooler when you need to cool down quick.

Their site says they offer a lifetime warranty on all their products?

I'm not sure. The review Field and Stream did said it was only a year. Maybe the warranty policy has changed though since the review is almost two years old.

    It doesn’t exclude them?
    They are a Cabela’s product.

Yes, it was their "Black Friday" sale, which was morel like 2 or 3 weeks long. 45 is a good idea if you want portability, the 65 is cumbersome especially when full. I put it in the truck then load it so I don't have to struggle.

Damn so I just missed it.
Maybe I’ll call them and see if they can make something happen.
