Got home after driving my 04 V6 today. Everything was completely normal. I was in my house for no more than 10 minutes when I got into the truck again and tried to start it... nothing. No dash lights at all, not even an odometer. My door dings, the dome lights work and my headlights work but will not start and will not show lights on the dash. The battery is not even a month old but still I cleaned the terminals and even tried a different battery and still nothing. Also checked all the fuses and they all look good. I’m thinking ignition switch. Any ideas?

    Exterior light work?

You stated you checked the fuse, did you check the alternator 120a fuse?

Pretty sure I checked all the fuses but I will go back and make sure.

    All exterior lights work yes.

Might be a blown 120a alternator screw on fuse. Mine pop last year, light work fine but no power to dash, odo, won't crank, or anything

Is that fuse under the hood or inside the cab?

Is it easy to see if those are blown like the smaller ones? Sorry I’m new to working on my stuff myself.

Yea, there's an arc between blade. If connection is blown, you'll see/know.

Don't pull it out, it's screwed on. You'll break it

So I don’t need to take it out? If it’s blown I will be able to see with it in there?

You can't pull it off. You'll need to disassemble the fuse box to access the 2 hidden screw.

    Snap a picture of yours?

I’m currently at work and it’s 17 degrees outside here so I’ll do it tomorrow.

So if it is blown would I be able to see it without unscrewing it?

Correct. You will be able to see it unless the fuse lens is dirty. If that's the case, you can remove the len and check

The original toyota 120a alt is in the abs 60a location. I did the abs pump deletion already and when it blew, i figure i remove the abs fuse and put the blown 120a there instead. It's a close up picture for clarity so you can see the difference

The bridge connecting the 2 tower will no longer be present/connecting together if it's blown
