    Yes.
Found this gem on Instagram today. I have finally suspended my search for a go fast camper. Blueprints in the works for this new camper.

People do tend to drive incredibly slowly in the left lane in that area though...

the speed limit is 50 so... with a wreck everyday you think people would get it that they need to drive slower on this dangerous HWY 17

You just never know where they’re hiding on 17. And it’s a pretty heavily patrolled hwy to boot. Idiot.

Sure thing...but at 5am going 75mph weaving in and out of traffic? Traffic was doing about 60...not exactly crawling...still 10mph over too.

It's like 6 miles or 8-10 minutes from Summit down to Santa Cruz ave where it straightens out. 15 mph difference will get you there a couple minutes faster. Not really significant. After that you can go 80 and no one will care because most cars are going that fast anyway. And there's loads of room to maneuver.

I'm a firm believer in the safest speed being the average speed. Not necessarily the speed limit.

At least he wasn't tailgating the hell out of people.

I read they're adding more patrols too. Most accidents are due to speeding and losing control of the vehicle. There's a lot of accidents. When it rains it's crazy.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

    Ryan Newman.

He's got serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

That wreck was wicked. He got nailed in the driver door.

He was winning the damn race with less than a quarter mile to go.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
Same spot another infamous accident happened, on the same lap... Thankfully the vehicles have become safer for the drivers or Newman would be toast.

That's good to hear. Non-life-threatening is a good start. Now let's hope for non-life-changing.

The thing people don't get is the regulars are probably fine most of the time. But there are people who don't drive it that often and the road surface changes day to day and that equals a recipe for disaster.
