Non-off-road uses for MTM (Multi Terrain Monitor) in TRD-OR with premium pkg?

I'm wavering between a Limited and a TRD-OR with premium package. One thing the TRDORP has that the Limited doesn't is the MTM.

For the 2024 (might have been different in prior years), MTM is an additional mode from within the PVM screens (Limited has PVM but not MTM). The red box below is for MTM mode.

MTM has slightly different front, rear, and side views and marker lines than the same PVM views, but it also has the underneath view showing a 3D view of the tires and what they're about to roll over.

Besides the obvious off-road value in this, what sort of non-off-road value might this have?
I can think of a couple things:

    • Might be useful for positioning/centering the tires when driving up portable ramps (e.g. for working underneath the truck).
    • For tight garages, it might be useful to draw a line on your garage floor and place/park the centerline of the front tires right on the line so you are just far enough into your garage that you can close the door.
I'm not sure if MTM has any value above and beyond PVM for parking in a parking lot. Anyone have a view on that or other non-off-road used for MTM?

I went a slightly different direction. I loved the panoramic view cameras in my 2020 Tacoma Limited so I made it a point to get that feature in my new 2024. I ordered a Sport w/premium package which includes the panoramic view camera.
