1500 for a washtub and a drawer.

I mean, it does look pretty legit to me. I say go for it if that's what you want.

Yeah, it's tough to justify the price but I'm trying to make camping more convenient. One of the biggest pains is simply getting all the gear down from the storage shelves and into the truck. And then setting up at the site. We live close to amazing camping and oftentimes want to take last minute trips but getting everything together is just enough of a hassle that we don't go. I'm thinking one of these storage systems will mean everything is already in the truck, ready to go. Grab some clothes, throw the food, tent, and dog in the truck and we're ready to go. Set up at the site will basically just be the tent.

(Yes, this is me trying to justify spending a couple of grand on a drawer.)

I get it. I was the same way. When I was tent camping I reduced my gear into two waterproof contico SUV boxes - one for tent and bedding and the other was the kitchen box. Just grab the containers, a couple of folding chairs and a cooler, and go. Plus the boxes doubled as tables or benches when at camp. I learned it in college - as a geology major you have to spend an entire six weeks living in a tent and moving from site to site daily. Stuff got real efficient real fast. That box system stuck with me for years.

Shoot, I run a trailer now and there's still some packing involved. Lately I've been using the Camp Chef Sherpa to quickly transfer clothes and pantry between home and campsite. Though it's marketed as an outdoor kitchen system, I find it's better used as a portable cabinet.

The nomad drawer system is a neat solution and it works for many. For me personally my first choice would still be an old fashioned chuck box for my kitchen. Quick to load, quick to deploy, doesn't take up permanent residence in the truck. :cookiemonster:
