2010 Sport windows were squeaking when rolled up so I coated the rubber with silicone. Some of the minor squeak disappeared. Then I realized the "major" squeak was actually in the door. When I roll the driver's side window up it is quiet up to the top. AFter it hits/stops, holding down the switch results in a very loud squeak which I always thought came from the gasket/window. It isn't like I hold it down for a long time, its just that split second after it bottoms out that I hear that noise. I can hold the switch and the noise will continue. This does not happen on the passenger side.

Sounds like this is a stressed motor? or something keeps spinning in there? I didn't see anything elsewhere on the site.

Pop off the door panel and take a look (lots of you tube videos show how) easy peasy.

Guess I'll check it out when I install speakers. Thought for sure someone had had this issue.

I had a squeaky window on my Tundra.....silicone lubed the window channels - helped. Pulled off the door panel and lubed the regulator pivots and gear assembly - noise gone.
