Our 2020 has no Homelink in rear view mirror. Anyone swapped other type of system in it's place. Would like to keep the original mirror, maybe set up a momentary switch in dash if possible. Anyone dealt with this and if so any suggestions. Thanks :)

The above is correct. Bob's Mirrors is the best option. There are threads in here about having it powered with the accessories to prevent someone from breaking a window and opening your garage from the driveway. That said, I have cameras covering the truck and the garage door tells me when it opens, so I just did the plug 'n' play install.

Man I really need to stay off this site for one day. Every time I’m on here someone is spending my money!

Not to mention that Gentex makes most of the OEM mirrors anyway.

I got the harness with my mirror from Bob's Mirrors so it would only be powered on with the vehicle.

I have one from bobs mirrors. He will sell you one with blue backlighting to match the Tacoma.

Could have just rewired it yourself for free. And would have taken you about 2 minutes to do vs. 1 minute to install the harness.

Do you happen to have instructions? I'd be open to going back to do it if it's that easy.

    LS1 swap with nitros.
I’ve bought 2 of these off eBay... maybe $15-20 each. In the taco I installed it on the top side of the storage cubby with the Qi wireless charging. You cannot see it sitting in the truck.

Put the other into my S2000 right by my knee. Again out of sight.

They are both wired into +12v when the ignition is on only, so they no workie if the car gets broken into etc.

Read a few posts down where someone did those steps, if you haven't already. There is amplifying info.
