Been looking for new tires, currently have the Falken which have performed amazing but a bit on the heavy side so looking into a bit lighter options.

Toyo has been my main choice but there are no good deals on them, about $930 with install and the discount tire certificate incase I mess them up.

Due to Toyota's buy 3 get one free I can get the Nitto's for $670 with 2 year accident certificate, and installation.

I wonder if @Discount Tire is able to match the dealership deal or local dealerships

    Decisions..

Edit: Went with the Nitto's, pics below

I'm also considering these two models. Aggressive tread with SL rating for weight, and both with 65k miles.

I ended up installing the G2 due to the $250 savings at the Toyota dealership, it seems to perform well according to the reviews and does seem to have a slightly more aggressive look to them.

What size? and did you notice a significant difference between them and the wildpeak with ride quality?

265/70/17, same as I had with the Wildpeaks.

So far they ride well and I can notice power has improved a little bit since they are 6 pounds lighter after all.Just installed them yesterday and doing a 150 mile roundtrip today and a 600 mile trip at the end of the week so we will see.

MPG doesn't seem to have changed much but that's more dependent on thread pattern and compound than just weight. Need to use them a bit longer to see what improvements there would be, I was expecting an extra 1mpg.

Mostly interested in the rain or rare snow performance lol

I’ll assume you’ll rotate them yourself, since had you gone with discount rotations and balance are for life of the tire. Plus the certificates from discount are for a longer period of time too. If you have to pay for rotations and balances then probably a wash over the life of the tire if you went with discount.

Lets see them. I've been eyeing Terra Grapplers for a while. My stock tires are getting to the point of replacement but are still a few thousand miles out.

With weight & appearance in mind, I went with the Terra Grapplers. Truck was stock prior, so no other AT/Tire for reference.

Does Toyota not include that? Tried checking but couldn't find anything. If so you have a good point on the final value though depending on how often it's done.

As for myself, my Local DT rotates and balances without asking where they were bought lol but I normally get it done at my friends shop while doing oil changes, don't really get charged for labor just the oil and the filter parts. I also drive around 30k a year so 2 year warranty is enough in my case.

DT is much better than dealer though when it comes to rotation or balancing, all dealer will do is try to sell you extra shit and say that wheel needs aligment every single time lmao

Got exactly 22mpg for my 250 mile roundtrip so not too bad, driving around 75-80moh most of the trip. Wasn't my main concern but nice to have :D

Let's hope that's not the case here, they don't have have to be perfect but as long as they ain't dangerous like the Rugged Trails lol

Yeah, I really like the tread side you have out. I've seen several where it's the other way and not bad but I like the way you have it.

I went with KO2s. I like the looks of them and they have a good overall rating and following. Maybe next time I'll try RGs.
