    Hey Folks,

I’ve been researching for a bit and am leaning towards the Nitto Ridge Grapplers as an upgrade from the stock tires.

Is anyone running the Nitto Ridge Grapplers in either LT265/70R17 E 121/118Q or 265/70R17 115T? Since they discontinued C loads in this size, I’m considering E load over the SL. Thought I’d consult here to see if anyone prefers one over the other and why if so. I’m considering the E load for the durability, and I am thinking I might be ok with ride quality and slight mpg loss as the trade offs. If it was available in C I would do it.

Taco: Stock 2020 TRD OR DCSB, no suspension mods or lift or re-gearing

    Hauling/Towing: No

Intended use: 75% daily driver, 25% off-road (Sierra terrain often, forest roads, maybe some sand, maybe some OHV trails to gain more technical experience)

Added weight: nothing substantial. Tonneau cover, and a bin with recovery/off-road/vehicle tools. No aftermarket armor.

    Thanks in advance.

2.5" OME lift, Fox 2.5 coil overs, all pro expo leafs, ubolt flip kit w/ upgraded bump stops, 1.25" wheel spacers, 16" Bronze KMC Impact OL wheels, 295/75/r16 Nitto grapplers, beige Softopper, Brute force front bumper w/smittybilt winch, RCI rear bumper, caliraised rock sliders, TRD IFS skid plate custom swingout tailgate w/spare tire mount, TC bed stiffeners, Magnum force CAI, KC spotlights, tacomabeast headlights, rear seat molle panel odds and ends, hi lift, MESO interior lights, and a fuck load of patches… more planned for later.
I have them in 295/75/16 and they're the best tire I've run so far. Very good on and off road, pretty quiet on pavement.

Awesome, good to know. Have you ever had any issues with E stiffness? Or noticeable MPG loss or issues with braking or anything?

    One and only bump.

Also looking for any comparative experience with the Maxxis Razr A/T. These are my two front-runners thus far. Also been leaning more towards SL after some responses in other threads, but not certain yet.

Edited: Apologies for not posting this in the Tire sub, thought I had.
