I am wanting to get a new set of tires. I am looking for a A/T or Hybrid. I really want the Nitto tires, but it looks like they are around 5lb heavier than the BFG in 265/70/17. Will I see a big difference in fuel or shifting between 5lbs per tire? Any other recommendations?

What load range you looking at? 5 lbs won't make a big difference, maybe 1 mpg.
They are both good tires, the Nittos look good. I have the KO2s and really like them.

The Nitto's are E1 and the KO2 are C1. I will be doing primarily highway and some dirt roads. I like the look of the Nitto better.

You probably saw that the Nittos come in a SL 115T for that size as well, I would go for those if your are primarily doing highway with dirt roads. They will be fine. Only 44lbs.
