Those are probably fake plugs. I pulled a set off my 2014 Tacoma and my 2008 that I put on and pulled them at about 10,000 miles when I realized they were fake. I will either buy from local store or Sparkplugs.com. I change the laser iridiums at 100,000 miles on the Tundra and I will change my Tacoma at 80,000 miles.

Weird things can happen when the incorrect plugs are installed. The internal resistance and heat range may be different.

I can't prove it over the internet but I've seen incorrect plugs (iridium in place of copper) cause CAN/BUS communication issues, random stalling and misfires

Not trying to crap on your new Autolites but I won't let those anywhere near a car. Too many experiences with intermittent misfires

On Amazon purchases, to help ensure you aren’t sold counterfeit anything, make sure the item(s) you are buying is/are coming from an Amazon warehouse and not a third party vendor. Iridiums can last 100K but they should be pulled for inspection at about 60K-70K. On my first set of NGK iridiums, the gap was out of spec at 110K, but not nearly as bad as the OP’s. For my second set, I got Denso Long Life iridiums, they have a hardened electrode, but I will still check them by 70K.

I've replaced a lot of plugs in my days, always go with NGK, never seen an NGK look like that.

    Me thinks a fake.

Autolites flood in the winter here, I'd rather run your old plugs than autolite.

Just had one towed in from the mountains and no matter what I did, the autolites would not fire, I used heat, lighters, evaporation everything. The ceramic was even distorted.
