NEXT ON THE MOD LIST is a Roof Rack WHICH ONE?

Looking at getting a roof rack next and wanted to know what you all recommend?

It will be used for hauling extra gear when hunting and camping.

Does not need to be rooftop tent compatible as I will not be using it for that purpose

Looking for something that allows for a light bar in the front ferring and maybe even side and rear lighting.

I keep seeing Prinsu everywhere and wonder if this is the GO TOO when it comes to roof racks or are there others I should look at as well?

 

I'm looking at Front Runner just because they have so many accessories available for it.

 

im most likely going with front runner for a roof rack as well. i have a rci bed rack which i may sell to get the front runner bed rack too. personally i like that their racks have the t slot mounting. the fact that they have so many add-on options makes is nice as well.

 

I vote for UPtop I have the bravo rack and it’s awesome.

 

UpTop hands down. After searching through a lot I went with Uptop Alpha and AlphaEx for the shell. There amazing, and the customer service is even better.

 

I also have a Diamondback tonneau cover and FR just released a railing system for it, so just to keep it consistent if I ever do decide to go down that route.

UpTOP has my vote. Quality product and great service.

 

I did a ton of reading and ended up ordering uptop bravo. Front runner was my second choice, but for me to get the cab and topper racks at the same height they recommended the tall feet and I didn’t want such a tall rack. The price was also a big difference. Prinsu and victory 4x4 were a close third choice but they seemed similar to uptop style but uptop is newer design with nice features such as the grooves on the rail for bungee cords, grab handles, and easy install for LED lights. Was also very impressed with customer service on the forum.

 

if i do decide to sell it i will let ya know man.
