    Welcome to TW!!!

Can't say they are bad wheels, but they are likely quite heavy and I wouldn't be surprised if the finish would start to dull in couple years depending on your climate. Check out the wheels and tires sub forum to see some other options. FN Wheels, Method, SCS, Black Rhino, some Fuel wheels seem to be popular choices. Mostly because they are very high quality wheels and some are very light weight which helps a lot. Something else to note is that you will need different lug nuts as well, not sure if you are aware of that.

Depends on the look you are going for as well. You won't find much love for chrome or bling on TacomaWorld, the majority of members are biased towards function over form. I tend to be one of those people but I like an OEM+ style for the most part.

    There's a whole sub-forum for wheel stuff.

    Opinions:
    • Ugly for my tastes but hey it's your truck.
    • Expensive by comparison to other options.
    • Probably heavier than other options on the market meaning worse mpgs.
    • Vendor's own website doesn't give full specs leading me to think they are poorly manufactured (same opinion here so you don't think I'm just being a party pooper).
    • Low quality manufacturing means weak means possible failure offroad or even crawling the mall if you hit big potholes.
    • If you donk it out and go big rims little tires it will only amplify the weakness.
    • Vendor's own website says they are not intended for all-season use which makes me think the finish/paint is weak and will fail quickly if you live anywhere near the rust belt.
TLDR = I see zero positive benefits other than looks. Suggest other options.

Edit: I was curious and bored at work. Searching for Velox online show they are either the same or partnered with a company called TNT. Both appear to make knock-off wheels of other popular manufacturers. In this case, this model Velox Grenade appears to be their take on the XD Wheels Grenade model. To my knowledge, XD is a more well-known company with good quality and their version of the Grenade is actually cheaper than the Costco unit.
