    Hello All,
Just recently got a 2005 Tacoma 4x4 TRD and the tires are beat. It is currently set up on some aftermarket wheels and 265/65/R17 tires.

I want to get new rims + sport/terrain tires but don't know where to start. I guess I will keep the tire size the same but when it comes to the wheels the bolt pattern, offset, wheel width, and all that I am extremely confused...

Can anyone lead me in the right direction. Thank you

Well to start, the lug pattern is 6x5.5 or 6x139.7. I believe all the stock 2nd gen tacoma wheels have a +30mm offset and are 7 inches wide. More positive offset tucks the wheel in farther, while a more negative pushes it out.

Do you have any info on the wheels currently on your truck? The tires you currently have are the stock size for a trd sport, so a 7" wheel is ideal. As far as offset, it's really dependent on how much you want them to poke out or tuck in.
