    guys/gals...
new to this. so be easy on me..... i'm replacing my factory shocks on my TRD Sport with Falcon tow haul leveling system. No lift. just leveling in the front. I want to replace my upper control arms while im at it, since it's torn apart for the shocks.
I know it's not necessary for just a leveling, but will it HURT to do it, or help at all to upgrade my UCA's?
I just don't want to install new ones and have that cause a problem because it's NOT lifted.
please, positive, helpful input only- thanks in advance.
    recap:
I'm not lifting the truck, just leveling it with Falcon sport tow/haul leveling shocks. Just want to install some new UCA's while im at it.
    what say you?

(i tried searching this forum for a thread that answered my exact question but couldn't find anything)

There’s really no need to upgrade the control arms for the sake of an upgrade alone. Most add caster angle and correct for added positive camber from “holding” the suspension at a different part of its cycle to gain lift. with little or no lift, these additional angles are not necessary and may be a detriment to align-ability .

I suppose it should be asked which setting are your falcons going to be working at? Aren’t those 0-2.5”?

I mean they're kind of a pain in the ass to change and imho pointless unless you -need- them. But you didn't ask that, so no, it will not hurt at all, and isn't a bad idea if you plan to lift in the future.

they will be leveled, so in the middle, to lift the trucks front appx 1.25" or something like that
like i stated, i know it's not needed/necessary. that's not my question. my question is, will it HURT to upgrade?

thanks, that's what i was thinking...if i do decide to lift it, which i might, i'd already be one step ahead, and since i'm gonna have that area taken apart for shocks, might as well, was my thought

....plus....i can "sneak" those in with my purchase so i have one less thing to justify to the wife lol "honey I HAVE to install them with new shocks, otherwise my pitch and roll will be thrown off, yeah"

If you really want to upgrade them you could go with adjustables like the SPC arms, that way you can get alignment right at stock height, leveled height, or lifted height if you decide to go that route in the future
