I needed a new truck, and I told the wife I wanted a Tacoma. I've been talking about them non-stop. I've been showing her photos, and told her I couldn't decide which model and color. I loved the Pro but they were almost impossible to find; especially in the yearly limited color. I was working (from home) all day Saturday. She went to the Toyota dealership by herself and came back with this. This is the first vehicle I've ever owned with less than 100k miles. She wins!

I love everything about it. It does need some meatier tires. I'm blown away by the tech. I can start the dang thing from my cell phone! Thinking about a bed box for storage. Maybe a roof rack for lights on all 4 sides. I have noticed that the color really changes a lot depending on the light. Sometimes it looks sage green, sometimes blueish green, and sometimes it almost looks cement grey.

The wife's parents and I all used to live in Hawaii (separately), so the wife name her Honu, which is the Hawaiian word for turtle. Seems fitting given the color.

Now I just have to fight the urge to dump money into mods. :help:

She's a beaut, congrats and welcome, quick question, I noticed it looks like yours came with the new slider accessory which is only available in some regions, is it bolt to the frame or body? Again welcome and congrats!

Unfortunately, they are mounted to the body. I still think they would work just fine for everything other than really extreme rock crawling.

Thanks bud. Ya I just wouldn't put any weight on them, but they'll do fine for protecting the rocker panels and are nicely tucked in.
