Just installed a new trd Pro grill for my 2000 SR5 Limited Pickup Tacoma. Back in those years, they didn't use the grill to differentiate the grade of Tacoma so I wanted to install one that made mine stand out.

I also installed 2 LED cubes that came in a really nice kit that attached really easily to the bottom hood.

I linked the orange lights for the grill to the running lights so that they are always on when my running lights are on. Then I linked the LED cubes directly to the battery and it has a switch that I put inside the cab.

I love how they both turned out

Alibaba sells them. Takes a while to get but that’s the cheapest option. I have an extra one. Where are you located?

I’m not sure I’m sold on it, but I’m close to ordering

I pulled my grille apart and stripped the chrome off. I gave her the rattle can bed liner treatment. We’ll see how it looks all back together.

I say go for it. Honestly, I was slightly skeptical at first, but after I installed it and got the wiring figured out it was worth it!

I also just installed the classic OG TRD logo that just takes it to the next level.

    Pics for reference.

Not entirely sure I'd like that look for myself, I'm building mine for an old schoolish look. Probably gonna go with a 95-97 front end at some point
    Thanks for offer tho

I like this, except the TOYOTA logo is clearly stretched out horizontally too much.

That is one of my few small complaints. It is stretched out and the letters are just slightly too big.

Looks pretty good, but you really need to replace or at least buff and clear coat those super faded headlights.

Haha yeah, I'm on Amazon right now looking at a new set. I heavily considered getting the LED halo ones. But lately, I have been thinking I would like to keep it a little more original with simple ones.

What do you think of these? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088C2TKD...wVehicle=1&vehicleId=1&vehicleType=automotive

CAPA certified is the best if you're not going to get Toyota OEM ones.

The ones you linked are likely pretty crappy output that is scattered.

Have had them on for about 3 months now they still look good and quality is decent not better than oem of course but good. Light output seems good I have HID’s and angled them so no one is blinded. I’m happy with them

That's not how it works. I bet you're still casting glare above what is normal.

How are the letters mounted into the center? Looks like it could be replaced with a new 3d printed set of letters. I could help in that department.
