Those look awesome! Yeah they are a full Mud Tire so they are going to be loud. I don’t think Goodyear has had a true MT since they release the MTR a long time ago. But these look way more functional than the MTR’s.

It looks like there is quite a bit of gap between the lugs.

The stone ejectors look like the ones from the Duratrac but slightly more aggressive. A tire I'll be keeping my eye on.

Boost, armor, lights, big tires, no savings.
Newer, high end MTs are not as loud as the old generation. I went from Falken AT3W to Mickey Thompson Baja MT and barely hear a difference. Even going from the 34/11.50r17 to a 35/12.50r17. They have surprisingly good road manners.

I also have the 315/70r17 Goodyear Territory MT; what the Raptor Bronco comes with. They are under the Wrangler line, but they try to hide that naming as it would not be a good look to have (Jeep) Wrangler on a Ford. I'd consider them an aggressive AT due to lug spacing and tread depth. They do tend to squeal in the turns more than the others. Compound feels softer.

I believe Goodyear defines the MT as Maximum Traction, not Mud Terrain.
And finally, Goodyear bought Cooper who owns Mickey Thompson. Cooper MT and Mickey's MT are very similar, and this new Goodyear looks like an iteration of the 2, just more basic technology.

For the right price these could be a good option.

It's a Goodyear, so it will be loud, it will not be round, it will cup no matter what you do, and it will be impossible to keep balanced.

Looking at the construction and pattern I think it is based on Cooper tire technology. The construction by size matches the Cooper STT Pro. But based on the pattern type as a mud tire it will definitely be louder than a AT or RT which is the case for all Mud Tires. If it is based on the Cooper STT Pro it will be one of the best MT’s on the market.

Is that every line of goodyears, every size, use case and how have you had a chance to run all those configurations?
    Are you from the Future?!?!

    What's the tire weight?

edit: in 285/75/16, for example; and other popular Tacoma friendly sizes.

Been running Goodyear on my fleet due to mandatory contracts on and off for the last 15 years. It is universal on everything they make that is an all-terrain or more.

Sounds like a real headache. We'll see how the Goodyear Territories perform. Only ~5k so far. They were so cheap I couldn't pass them up. Ran the Goodyear Wrangler Kevlar 15 years ago without any issue on my 1st Gen. But my experience is limited as compared to yours.

Really? I geuss they are both Mud Tires and have a 4 block configuration. To me it looks closer to the BFG KM3 than the Mastercraft MXT
