Hey guys, just picked up a 2014 DCSB TRD-O (mag gray of course :D ) and am looking to pick up some good accessories/mods for it. No lift yet.
    Here's what I'm looking for:

    Interior:
Console organizer/divider (saw a cool one w/separate compartments made out of clear plastic but idk if it was fab'd or bought.

iPhone mount-anyone have experience with Bracketron? Saw their stuff on cabelas, wide variety.

What do you guys put in your trucks interior?

    Exterior:
    Bed extender
    Bed divider
Bed...floor rack? Something I could put gas cans on.

Planning on using this as for a lot of exploring/camping. On and off road.

And btw-how do the stock Rugged Trails do in snow?

Replace the stock tires with Goodyear Duratracs.

Light the cup holders with an LED. You can't see anything at night. Super easy to do. I have a write up and there are others. It worked flawlessly on mine but my dad's 2014 did something and blew the lighting for the climate controls. They work but no light so if you do it, TAP IN TO SOMEWHERE ELSE in case all the 2014s will do that. Mine is a 2013

    Then debadge it

Some stuff I've done to give you ideas:

    - Gentex rearview mirror with integrated Ext Temp and Homelink for your garage openers and Auto-dimming . Gentex makes the Toyota OEM mirror but in '14 they don't offer the exterior temp. The the kit referenced in this thread is plug and play and takes less than an hour to install.
    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2n...mp-sensor-install-2014-off-road-pictures.html

    - Redline Hood Struts, I mean WTF Toyota, http://www.redlinetuning.com/products_quicklift.html

    - Bed Extender - AMP Research HD Max, you can get it in Black or Silver (this is the U-shaped design like the older OEM ones) . Note- AR makes the OEM extenders for Toyota, the OEM model with cutoff corners that doesn't cover the whole tailgate is pretty useless IMO, I replaced it with a black HD Max. Allows strapping gas cans between the extender and tailgate.
    http://www.amp-research.com/products/truckaccessories/bed-x-tender/max/

-Center Console&Glove Box organizer, this is a nice kit I just installed. http://www.salexorganizers.com/

-Bed Light Kit-, I haven't installed this yet but the kit is nice and instructions are straight forward.
    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2n...-fs-waterproof-under-bed-rail-led-lights.html

-Audio upgrade w/ stock Entune Head Unit (add processor, amp, & replace stock speakers). I also added sound deadening but this is a whole other thread in itself.

If you go offroad much, which you said you will be, either get Husky Liner mudflaps, cut the stock ones, or take them off completely.

The stock ones are a little too close to the ground and scrape or get torn off fairly easily.

I'm only going to repeat what other members have said to emphasize it... Duratracs will be your best investment for offroading or general driving in the snow. Your stock truck is only limited by the rugged trails on there now. Then the bed mat and weathertech floor liners to keep your stuff tidy and your truck clean. Any other creature comforts you want in the cab and you'll be a happy camper until you decide it's time to really start dumping money into the truck

Get a bed cover of some sort. Right off the bat I get at least 1 mpg better. Not much but my truck was new when I ordered the cover and it will get 22 highway/rural. Once all things get settled a bit with the truck, I am hoping for 23 and that would be about 5 better than I ever got with my Titan (great truck, loved gas).

As I read the replies to this thread it becomes quite apparent how subjective this question is. I've had my truck for years now & several of the 'must have' mods I don't have & wouldn't want. Your best bet is to fund the threads with lists of cheap/free mods then various build threads & see which ones you want. After all, it is YOUR truck.
