    Hi,

My wife and I recently purchased an our 2019 Tacoma. Here are the specs:

    one previous owner
    v6 engine
    4x4
    Off-road package
Collision detection and lane departure warning
    6 foot bed
    Crew cab
    107,000 miles
Truck has a recall on the fuel pump that we need to take care of

We formerly owned a 2021 Tacoma SV access cab but it was totaled in a wreck.

Driving our 2019 home, we noticed a few issues:

    1) loud droning noise while at highway speeds that stop when on a right-hand curve. I think this could be uneven tire wear or a wheel bearing issue

    2) car does not move in drive. This problem has happened a couple times after being at a full stop. Seems like the truck is not in gear or something. Here is a short video showing the problem. For context, in the video the truck is in drive and I am giving it gas.

Any advice on identifying the source of these issues is appreciated. Thank you!

    Welcome to TW.

Sounds like you may be on the right track with your noise, need to raise the truck up and check it.

For the transmission issue I'd start with checking the fluid level, the document attached below is for a 23 model but the same procedure applies to 19.
