    Hello,

Recently purchased a 2022 Tacoma TRD OR and at 49k miles it looks like the oem rear struts are beginning to leak. I was doing some reading on the forum and Reddit and see everyone recommends the Bilstein 5100s as a great entry level option. My question is would these be a direct fit to the truck with no modifications needed being I’d like to retain factory ride height (at least for right now) or would there need to be anything added in addition. Also are these worth the jump from the stock suspension? I’m new to this so any feedback is appreciated and opinions are welcome. I look forward to learning from the rest of you!

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Don’t know but would you please get to a muffler shop and put a chrome exhaust tip on that thing. Welcome to TW and beautiful truck!

Welcome to TW! 2022, are you still under warranty? If you are, seems to me like Toyota should replace your rear shocks.

I believe the only factory warranty left is the power train so I’m not sure if it would fall under that. I did purchase a 3rd party one from the dealership which I’m still luke warm on from all the horror stories I’ve read about them. I agree with you entirely though that’s pretty early failure especially since this truck looks like it’s never touched dirt prior to me taking it.
