Just got one installed last week. Solar and propex heater set up. I’d be camping in it right now if it weren’t for a wedding I have to attend. It’s one of those cases where the pics and videos kind of do t do it justice. I’ll keep you posted on how it camps in the ling term but I haven’t seen anyone online or in person that regretted picking one up.

Your post almost comes across as a shill post for them. o_O

That said, their website sucks for starters- you want me to drop $9k on a camper at least give me a good overview and not a website that looks like something somebody did on ten year old free website software. Yeah, yeah, it saves money, but it really doesn't do anything to sell me the product. It seems most of us haven't heard of them which means they need to get out there and advertise- show up at the various "expedition" markets, er, expos, have employees post on the various forums that cater to these sorts of products and answer questions, etc.

From the info they do have on their website it looks interesting, just need to get it out there in front of potential buyers.

Can’t fit in my garage and don’t really like the soft sided tailgate area system so I ruled it out. Might be a nice option for others.

I hadn't even noticed the tailgate/entrance design- I'm curious how it attaches, which means another strike against their website, although I do like the extra room.

Random stuff. Oh! and converted to non ADD 4x4.
More options for the ones on the market for one of those. Hopefully competition drives some of the outrageous prices down. Cheers!

Lot of hate and discontent behind this text. I hope the kidney stone passes.

It is a echo chamber between three topper options. It is nice to see innovative companies doing awesome things while breaking up the monotony.

Not a shill, don’t work for them. Just a guy who bought their camper. Frankly, I don’t want anybody to do a damn thing but have an awesome life. I’ve lurked on Tacomaworld for a little more than a decade, and in that time I have gleaned many datapoints for or against purchases and mods. I’m hoping I can pay back by providing some datapoints on this camper, for or against.
I can still fit in my garage, even on 33s and a 2.5 inch lift.
As for how the tailgate section attaches, it completely zips in and out, securing on the sides of the camper with three buttons and elastic fitted corners on the tailgate and tie down points. Hard to describe, so I’ll come back with pics as soon as I’m back in town. I’ve heard the concerns about flapping in the wind/ insect intrusion/ keeping out the elements and other issues with the tailgate enclosure, and honestly, I don’t know yet. I do know that it concerns me no more than a standard ground tent.
The itch that this admittedly unorthodox approach scratched for me is that it maximized shelter area in a shortbed and allowed me to sleep 4 people in the back if I build a sleeping platform on the “first floor “. We’ll see how this plan survives first contact, but I’m optimistic. You kind of have to be after dropping 9 large;)

OK, well what you've provided is actually a bit of useful information- do a walk-through thread, with better pictures than the company's website, and maybe a build thread of how you set it up for travel and that will help people make informed decisions.

    A crap ton of mods.
I guess unless you're homeless or on the run and trying to avoid the authorities it probably doesn't matter. : )

Does the "tailgate annex" get in the way of closing the tailgate and hatch for sleeping? Seems like it would be warmer.

I’m opting for the Harker because I’m 6’5 and it hast the longest bed platform of any wedge camper known about and the anex covering the tailgate allows me to sleep my family of 5 on two levels and have an over 6foot sleeping platform on the lower level. Overall the research I have done it has the most space for the smallest footprint and lowest price point.

Is this the camper Scotty at Wildfly got? I enjoy his videos and love truck campers but to be honest I didn’t really love this camper (if I’m talking about the right one that is)….

I owned one of the first GFC’s an Alu-Cab Khaya and have now graduated to a Supertramp camper so I do have a lot of truck/ wedge camper experience. This one just didn’t look great to me for whatever reason. I’m sure it’s got its merits though.

just looked at the website. Now I remember why I didn’t like it…. WIND!

I have seen a few notes on how people deal with the wind... Pretty much strap the damm curtains correctly... but thats the EDC.... I am looking at the EXO version which does not have that wind issue.

I got the Harker in March and love it. At 6’5” it’s the only wedge that allows my height. We went out last weekend and my wife and I slept on the top portion and my two kids had plenty of room in the truck bed since it makes my 5 foot Tacoma bed 6.5 feet long since it extends over the rail gate. Also walking in with out having to duck under the rear hatch is nice. We went to the Northwest Overland rally and all kinds of people came up and asked about the cook table not knowing it was the rear hatch to my camper. The heater pumps out a lot of heat and since the interior comes carpeted it insulates well. Wind is a factor and you will need to tie down the drop down portion if you expect any major wind as it’s pretty loud. The Propex heater only has on or off setting so if your a light sleeper best to run it until you settle in then click it off till morning. It will heat things up very fast. Overall I have been super hand gets lots of questions about it since there aren’t many out.
