Anybody have experience with this NH Oil Undercoatingrust undercoating? Comparing it with fluid film and corrosion free. I'll have to get it professionally done because of my bad back.

I'm in Muskoka area of Ontario Canada..... LOTS of salt and Calcium Chloride used. here...… I'm a true believer in Corrosion Free. I do it every fall since they started using that Calcium Chloride.....That is real nasty stuff......It sticks like baby shit to a diaper..!!

Used it for the last 30 years on all vehicles. Applicator does a real professional job and he owns the business himself.. (that's the secret to any of these)..

i got it done at Keegan Auto in North Hampton. great shit, they do a clear oil coast under it all so it doesnt hide anything if youre looking for it, and they go over it in a black tinted coating in the wheel wells and stuff where you see from the outside. its good stuff. lasts longer than fluid film, and is better in my opinion. Keegan used to do fluid film but switched over for good reason

Do you have to recoat every year? About how much would something like this cost ? Did Toyota do anything special with the new frames or will some Tacomas eventually have a replacement frame under them if the owner does nothing?

A few owners up here use a hand pump bug sprayer and coat the underside w/used motor oil every Fall....According to their claims, it is effective.

Thinking of getting something like this done. Stories of Tacoma frame rust scare me ..

they should. thats the weak point of the tacomas. i think it costs about $200 for it to be done (but i get a discount because i know the guy) and i do it every year. you can buy it in cans and do it yourself but its much easier if youve got access to a lift. i cant imagine not doing it, the salt in nh is so brutal.

I know some guys who use old trans fluid and they swear by it.

I also went with corrosion free. No dripping and no holes drilled
