Guys I've had the Falken AT4Ws in 275/70/18 E Load for just under a week - I have run the PSI from 31 up to 39, and they feel "rough" and bumpy, much harsher than the stock SLs. I think it's obvious that E rang tires are harder, but I was not expecting this much. What is your experience with the E range AT4Ws? What pressures are you guys running? I've got a trailhunter which is a heavier truck, but it still runs rough. Wondering if I should have gone KO3 or if I am just overly sensitive to the change. Anyone run these and the KO3s and notice a comfort difference?

Sorry that was meant for Dave who posted the TFL test.

do your tires run pretty comfortable at 34?

    It’s the new AT4 not the AT3.

I know lots of people are sceptical of The Fast Lane on YouTube.
Another channel tested the At4, liked them in the dry, snow not the greatest.

Link to the YouTube, snow stuff is around the 11 min mark.

I'm a fan of Duratracs. Mine have been great in everything I've thrown at them. But like you say, they are loud. I'd be willing to invest in the Duratrac RTs when the time comes. Currently, the Cooper Rugged Trek is on my radar.

Has anyone had issues with balancing their Falkens? Apologies if I’ve asked before; I can’t recall.
I thought I read some posts here or elsewhere of guys having issues getting their Falkens balanced or keeping them balance.

On the hunt for new tires, like many ended with the short list Falken AT4 or K03. Read both entire posts: this one and the K03 one. Watch some YouTube as well and I have no idea what to decide :D

Most of the YouTube for K03 reading the same kind of script and no real test or feedback in rain or snow conditions.

For the Falken same kind of mix feeling with some people saying that the tire is bad with wet conditions but others like a dude in Washington state that loves the tires with no concerns (I think he knows about rain conditions). This video is concerning as I am looking for a tire that can allow me to go snowboarding.

Now that said, we are page 35 with many real users from different states here :) => for those owners: any bad experience with snowing and wet conditions?
Do you confirm the lack of grip for emergency break like in the video?

Bad for wet braking? Never heard that. To get them to even break traction in the wet and I had send 465lb feet to the rear tires and they barely chirped. I also think the TFL test was a joke and not scientific. Traction is beastly. My one complaint is they are pretty stiff / hard tires and unless you’ve dialed in the PSI the ride can be bumpy.

Went with 265/70r17 on my pavement princess... happy with how they fit on a 1.5" lift. Nicer as a daily driver than 275/70/17 AT3Ws I had previous (which weighed 58 lbs a tire - these are ~47lbs/each).

Next test will be snow and ice over the next couple months.

Watch “the fast lane” they take them out and the Falken AT4w just kept on skidding in the snow.
They liked the Firestone as well
Dry and rain they like the AT4w, snow they sucked
