I'll have to check them out for when I need my next alignment. Driving to my buddy's shop in Boston just for an alignment is becoming a pain.

Where do you guys go for a transmission fluid drain and fill? I called my dealer and they want $400. Seems ludicrous to me

If your coming 7/23 we will have plenty of experience giving you a hand. Not sure if 3rd gens and 2nd are the same but on my truck it was super easy. Would just need to bring fluid and Im sure someone has a pump.

A 3rd gen should weigh in here. I just know in my second gen it was a 1 beer 15 minute job.

I paid the dealer to do it, like 2 or 300 bucks and I didn't have to put up with warming the truck and checking levels and burping it and then disposing of the ATF, not the cheapest but I'd say worth it

Got a bunch of stuff banged out despite the heat today; fitted up my winch controller (with provided hardware nonetheless!), got my chase lights wired up into the switch panel, relocated the accessory wire for said switch panel from the headlight circuit to a keyed ignition circuit inside the cab, cleaned a bunch of my half-assed wiring up, and mounted my bumper lights with some self-tapping machine screws I found laying around the shop this week. The lights are super solid now and look clean to boot. I need a shower and a drink now :bananadead:

    Also:frusty:

went to run to home dump and my foot went to the floor! no brakes,,wtf!

big ass puddle under passenger front tire, crazy bend on the hard line???? Must have hit something on my way home. Ordered both sides from the stealer and adding that to “what’s new on John’s truck” for tomorrow.

on the plus side, that cv seal is leaking and getting done. Had to be my fault, I just replaced the cvs and that seal is og.
