Thanks Chris ya we talk alittle before about Northeast. I have been on there and your right a ton of info. I will have to look when home from work but I had found a thread that had all kinds of info about who had the F sight or the staked nut,,the H buffer, as well as the testing criteria and BMC was ranked pretty high.

I went through the MFS course also. The instructors there really are pretty awesome. They moved to Holliston and I'm thinking about joining there. If you're a member, you can bring a guest for free and they'll let you shoot any of their guns for free, just buy ammo. The downside is it's only an indoor range and you're limited on how high powered your gun can be (I think they allow up to .45 pistol and no +P or +P+).

Also, for anyone looking, I have a coupon for Four Seasons in Woburn for a Sig pistol. I think it's buy the pistol, get a free mag. If anyone is in the market, you can have it. I also have a 10% off coupon but I think I'm going to use that one :)

That place looks like a great place to do what your friend did. I don't think I'd want to be a member there, it's the most expensive place I've come across yet!

Please don't tell me you are the same user "Executive" from NES? I can't believe I am reading such a false statement filled with horrible advice.

For many in the MA firearms community, MFS is a joke due solely to the owner. I have had the "pleasure" of taking my Utah permit class there despite reviews by a bunch of people about what a yahoo the owner was. They were very much correct in their views, but I was happy to just get the Utah course out of the way. lol.

Interesting. I never had to deal with the owner, just the instructors. I thought the safety class was well run and the instructors were great. The owner very well might be a yahoo but their ranges seem pretty decent. :notsure:

Does this mean you like the BMC product. Where abouts on the Cape are you? I was just down in Onset last night for pizza and beers with some buddies from the Cape

Yup we used to go there when in the Coast Guard. We usually go to the Central Cafe in Middleboro but wanted to change it up

When you say "BMC" are you describing Bushmaster Company, or do you mean "BCM" "Bravo Company Manufacturing" ?

I am a huge fan of BCM. I wouldn't go as far as to say I am a "total" fanboy, but BCM is a "Teir 1" rifle company.

See this thread from NES where folks were asking about what the best AR companies are and why: http://www.northeastshooters.com/vb...t-ones-and-why?highlight=Best+AR+manufacturer

Yes sorry BCM Bravo Company. I thought the same thing, I have been looking and most of the feedback is all positive when it comes to their product. Most group them in the top and I have seen comparisons that favor BCM over Colt because of their price point
