    Can confirm after installing these tweeters today the side panels do not need to come off, just some slight maneuvering particularly when reinstalling the top covers to prevent scratching the side panels. Took all of 10 minutes start to finish. Sound is amazing! Now contemplating the door speakers and I don't even have 200 miles on the truck yet! Damn this place for tempting me over and over

    And if my memory serves me right, you are only removing the A-Pillar plastic so you can lift the speaker grilles up...
