Hello fellow Toyota friends. I’m very happy to have taken delivery of a 2018 TRD Pro Tacoma just a few days ago.

Managed to find the time to slap on some 265/75/16 BFG KO2s and remove the steps.

Really enjoying this thing, and the 6 speed Manual is a true pleasure to drive!

Welcome! And sweet looking rig! Same setup I would choose. I don’t let myself too close to those Cav Blue Pros, might do something stoopid like buy one. Have to remind myself how much I enjoy my current rig.

Congrats, Welcome to TW!! Great pic. My 2017 Barcelona Red Pro was totaled from being rear ended by a semi. These trucks are BUILT! We walked away with minor injuries.
I have a deposit on my cavalry blue pro! Picking it up on 1/22. Its 400 miles away, so all I have are the crappy dealer pics to look at. Seeing your pic gets me even more jazzed. The color seems to have at least 2 personalities, and some pics seem to convey the color better than others. Yours looks absolutely amazing!
You are going to love your taco supreme, and the awesome community of Tacoma world! The members on here are so helpful and supportive, you can learn a lot from them. After posting pics of my accident, I was overwhelmed by all the kind words of support and good advice.
    Welcome home!

I’m happy you made it out fine! Taco did it’s job for sure. Congrats on the 18 Pro deposit. You’re going to love it! Not just the color, but the new safety tech as well.

As far as the color, I’ve driven 300 miles thus far, and have had no less than 10 compliments on the truck already. It grabs attention and people just lust over it everywhere it goes.

The one thing that bugs me with it, is the fact that the dealership feels it’s necessary to pinstripe everything that hits the lot. Though they did keep it nice and thin, still belongs in the early 90s as far as cool factor

How true, not to mention that they also tint the windows, add a screenshield, and door edge protectors and add $1200 to the sticker price. All of about $200 and so really pure profit.

My last truck had pinstripes, and I did not notice them until after I took delivery. I had my body shop remove them as soon as I noticed.

    Congrats on the new Pro!

I didn’t give them a penny over MSRP. Hell, even less actually, since they do $1000 rebate for us active duty folks.

So free tint and miserable pinstripes

Exactly. There was one available 150miles closer to home, but it had $1117 worth of accessories on it. You know, really useful stuff like $30 first aid kit, $140 leather portfolio for the owners manual, and so on.

Hello, my wife’s $19000 Scion iM included a first aid kit, and a really nice hard case for the books with a fancy pewter zipper pull for FREE!
Shameless what goes on, but they know someone will buy it if it’s in a pro. I was lucky enough to find one with only all season mats, sill protectors, and wheel locks. Actually useful stuff
