I'm a couple weeks out from delivery of my '22 TRD Sport so it's time to start thinking of my checklist before I sign on the dotted line. Chime in with your suggestions if I missed anything, I want to be thorough and make sure I've covered everything. In no particular order, here we go:

The Check List of Things (version -)
    Cabin cooling and heat
    Tire pressure
Bluetooth calling, music, & Carplay/Android Auto functions
    Steering wheel controls
DRL, fog lights, low beams, high beams
Sunroof (you get what you get nowadays so this is what I got)
    Backup camera
    Windshield wipers and sprayer
    Keyless entry and remote start
Oil level (we all read that thread about the Tacoma with an extra quart and how that went, right?)
Take a good look at the paint job
Cabin trim and seats (no scratches or damage)
    Test Drive around town

Go out drive on the freeway . Check for any vibrations. Best way to prevent coming back and asking .

Thanks! Never would have come across that on my own, I was using the wrong search terms.

Crawl under it. Look for things that are leaking. Look at construction. Look at panel gaps. Do not take delivery at night, in the rain or poor lighting conditions. Shop lights are best so if they show it to you in the garage that is perfect.

    Oh look, another mod....

Carefully inspect the paint, trim and look at the gaps on the fenders & doors. Make sure there are no factory defects before it leaves the dealership. If you catch it after, the dealership will say it is YOUR fault, not theirs.
