Starting price of $16,500. Could get a used trailer camper for a fraction of the cost with more room, utility and even a bathroom.

Wow. When you scroll down and look at pics on the link, there is one photo of a guy suspended in mid air reading a book or manual. How do they DO that????

Sleeps 2, weighs about 1200 pounds, paid around $6,000 new....
Doors on either side, roof bars handle kayaks, A/C rocks with power.
    works for me.

This will be sweet for those under 6’. The yoho and kimbo are too heavy for my measly 950lb payload so this looks like a better choice for those not trying to go way above their gvw. I think this would be great on a truck with a 1500 lb payload like the ranger or colorado, hopefully the 4th gen sees a big bump in payload capacity.

Regarding the trailer comments above, this fits more into my use case of a bare bones hard sided winter camper that can tow motos or haul mtbs. Total Composites makes a shell similar to this as well.

Still can’t afford either tho :)

Everything in this Bizzaro state overpriced.... saving 4 grand would make it worth a roadtrip to another state to pick it up.

I agree it's pricey. I wouldn't spend the money, but this kind of set up has advantages over a trailer. Though I see a 4 Wheel Campers pop up will reduce height and I see that as a bigger advantage over the Scout. The scout's weight though is impressive.

Honestly I dont see a huge advantage (or at least a $10k advantage) over a 4 Wheel Camper/GFC-- all three setups are bare bones and sleep 2 in similar fashion. The rigid sides obviously are a plus in the Scouts corner, but for most people, that would not justify that expense over the 4Wheel Campers/GFC.

Side note... I cant believe they charge $1k for bed extensions.
