Has anyone received FSW wheels lately and have issues?

Just received an order today I placed for (4) of the F268 in bronze for my 2022 TRD Sport 4x4….Dustin had posted confirming all new wheels would fit (updated bore to clear dust cap) but I guess I received some old wheels?

    Disappointed is an understatement.

Did you reach out to them to see if they will rectify the issue before putting them on blast?

Yes, I did reach out to them. Have not heard back. Posting photos asking if anyone else has this problem currently, is hardly putting them on blast. Especially when their site rep posted 3 months ago all new batches of wheels have 0 fitment issues.

Thank you for your concern though.

Emailed and called Friday 6/9 12PM PST.

Sorry to offend you, but if you think this is putting them on blast when the Group Buy thread is filled with complaints like this from over a year ago...idk what to tell you.

    Enough for now
That sucks man, hopefully you come to a solution with the company or a new set of wheels. Luckily you have a ton of options if this set doesn’t work out

That statement is your basis for stating the OP being “childish” and “putting them on blast”?

FSW stated publicly that the new run would have zero fitment issue. So how is it the OP asking the questions he ask a basis for stating he blasted the manufacture? I really just don’t understand your basis.

Are you in retail customer service? Do you get beat up every day from representing a poor product? Why are you so defensive?

The wheels come with center caps? If so, the most expedient thing to do would be to run without the black dust caps. Spray some cosmoline around the axle nut if your area sees road salt.

Do the wheels fit flush in the rear?

Wheels fit in the rear. Front does not clear dust cap. Wheels do have center caps. Not removing the dust cap or modifying the truck, although removing the dust caps may work. I live in NY and the roads are salted heavily, I work for the DOT and have to drive in the snow + offroad on salt water beaches every weekend (for leisure).

you have handled this very well. It sounds like there may be a bit of help on the way for you. The only reason I am commenting. Here is my recently got a 23 sport and was looking at those wheels. With that being said, my research pointed towards an issue with these in the past.

sucks to hear you’re having issues. Please do update with the resolution.

This was an ongoing issue for members that was said to be rectified and clearly was not. Op has every right to put them on blast, even tho he did not. He did his homework and made the purchase on the word that this would not be an issue. I’d be pissed in the same situation.

seems you’re blasting him for bringing up a documented issue.

Thanks buddy I appreciate it! It seems FSW takes care of their customers so I am not too worried. The worst part was waiting an hour at the tire shop, only to find out they don't fit! Of course it was hot as all hell out, busy running around with other life obligations...just wanted this to go smoothly! Even went with OEM style wheels to swap over the TPMS sensors.

    I will keep you updated!

in a pinch i remember people saying they took some sand paper to the inside of the wheel hub and the outside of the bearing cover. Might be worth your time if so inclined to fix the issue yourself. My wheels F268 16x8 didnt have an issue. Bought shortly after they fixed the issue the first time.

Thank you guys for participating in this thread. The wheels that we're purchased with the fitment issue we're not from an updated batch. We are actually out of stock, and that set was pulled from another location that had a couple of sets left. It was unfortunate that he received a set from the old batch, which had the issue with fitting over the dust caps on 4x4 models because the inside of the wheel hub bore was painted when it shouldn't have been. I was correct in saying that all future batches of these wheels will not have an issue. This was just a mishap that unfortunately happened after I stated that there we're no more fitment issues with this style. @BoomerGVNG will be taken care of, just as we have taken care of all our previous customers who had this issue.

We will soon be restocking all of our styles, and this will no longer be an issue going forward. I apologize for the inconvenience, and any confusion this has caused.

    Dustin,

Thank you again for the help. I just shipped the wheels out. I look forward to the next batch, hoping they come back in stock sooner than later!
